 Every year hundreds of cruise ships make their way around the world. Thousands of passengers of every age, shape, and size, make their way onto these ships, hoping to see just a little part of the world. Wanting to relax. Which would bring us to, the Martingale. It's the newest ship of the cruise ship line. It provides everything a passenger may need. Unlike the other ships of its kind, however, it doesn't just target one area of the ocean. This ship is going all around the world. Across the sea.
The Martingale's goal is to cover all of the oceans, not just target one area of the ocean as most cruise ships do. Another way it's different? Say hello to Martingale High. It's a school aboard a cruise ship. There's still the usual tourists, and employees... but, they're accompanied by high school students. A very unique school, indeed.
Just a month ago did the Martingale set out with it's first school full of students and boat load of tourists. It was the ship's first journey out. However, the boat didn't make it very far up the coast. Something started to go wrong with the engine, and the cruise ship was forced to stop at the nearest port in a small town on the coast of Maine. Love, Maine, is where the cruise ship now resides until the captain and crew can fix the ship.
Which leaves the students and tourists free to mingle with the locals in the mean time. The captain guesses two weeks until the boat can be fixed. That means two weeks stuck in Love, Maine. Until this boat is fixed, there's no way to get... |
