The Forbidden Forest
A thick forest within the Hogwarts grounds, this is where other magical creatures, such as centaurs and unicorns, roam about. Entrance is forbidden for all students below the third year. Also, mischievous students are occasionally punished by being sent here to help the gamekeeper with a few tasks.

Green House
This is where all the magical plants are housed. And Hogwarts has a lot of different, deadly, and useful plants here. This is also where Herbology classes are conducted. Remember, only the sixth-years and up are allowed to swear loudly.

The Black Lake
The lake. What secrets lay in its depths? A colony of mermen surely reside at the bottom, enjoying their isolation. The Giant Squid, of course, lives here, and it's very friendly with the students. But be careful, it's rather clingy, and it just might drag you down under so you can keep it company...

The spectacular, beautiful and picturesque area surrounding the Hogwarts castle, the Lake, the Pitch, the Forest and the Gardens can be found here. Vast and spacious, it is easy to get lost in all the areas, so be careful, and try not to stray too far from the well-worn paths. Although one can never know what’s hidden in these Grounds, unless one checks for oneself… |
