Appearance:
Visage: Alecto has flawless skin that blends perfectly with her dark brown hair which falls about her sculptured face wildly. Her face has a tendency to look soulful and brooding but can quickly light up when she is amused. She has a smile that she considers to be incandescent. When she does smile, her genuine smile, her eerily mischievous eyes light up, and the full lips that can spread, revealing sparkling white teeth and a Cheshire grin.
Her wicked smirk often crosses her features especially when she has some kind of dastardly plan. That smile she bestows can make or break your day. Make it if it’s being directed at you, and break it by knowing you’ll never be on the receiving end of it. Penetrating, incriminating, Alecto’s eyes are ever on guard. Though partially obscured by the colossal black spectacles she sports daily, the amber orbs flecked with orange are probably her most outstanding feature. They are constantly roaming around their environs and seem to be indefatigable, as she is always scouring the area for interesting faces. She’s a person who is capable of evincing deep emotions with but a glance.
Physique: Her entire physique is nimble and yet strong. This woman doesn't walk, she struts. Back straight and head held high with sparking eyes and wide smile, every aspect of her body language seeping with confidence and breathing incredible potential that does not go unused. Because of this, Alecto appears very driven in every aspect of her life to get what she wants with uncanny resiliency and articulation that surprises even those who are most familiar with her. Alecto will rarely abandon her cause and her self-imposed objective.
It’s all about being expressive with your gestures, and Alecto sure lives up to that. Alecto knows she can work herself to her own advantage, and she does so shamelessly. After all, looks were bestowed for a reason, weren’t’t they? Especially when you can acquire a closet full of all sorts of different looks. Whether it is an acquired skill or an unknown and innate talent for her line of job, alecto has it. Better yet, she works it. And works it in her favour.

Personality:
Morals? What are those? For Alecto they are just a bother and get in the way of fun. Sometimes all you need to do is let go of a touch of your uptightness and you’ll end up having so much more than what you bargained for. Of course, what does this tell you of Alecto so far? I bet it hasn’t painted a pretty picture. On the contrary she has many pretty painted pictures. She is a sport for camouflage. But Alecto is not that easy to calculate. At first sight she might look like a girl with no care in the world but she has many layers, however, the first of which is just below the surface. Everytime you peel a layer, you will see a new and more profound side to her.
Just above the surface she is seen as Evasive and unreadable. And a slytherin at heart, she bluffs, calculates and folds through life, making deals that are in her best interest. Her carefree and at times over the top attitude has earned her more then her share of shiners through her larcenist life. She is prone to danger, almost a magnet and usually tries to fix the situation with words rather then fists. But when needed she will use her charm. She tends to speak cryptically and one can never be sure if she is being sincere or sarcastic.
For the sole reason that she can be unpredictable. You can never know what she is thinking about and she changes her mind every so often and likes it that way. She is also a very well known flirt and loves to play games with people. She is very good with words and can convince someone easily out of doing anything. She lies and deceives the next partier ever so easily. It doesn’t matter if you are a friend or foe, when she doesn't trust or does not want to give up the information you can be sure that she wont, this does not mean people can't trust her in the full sense of the word, its just that she has an agenda which she would rather not talk about her personal things. Unless ofcourse you have the honour of been her brother, amicus. The only person who seems to know how to twist and turn her on her heels.
For this she is a hard person to gain the trust of. She knows how to twist people to work with her, so she can gain what she wants before she tosses them to the side. She has a wicked temper though; she has a snobbish and prissy presence. If she is crossed all the cunning in her mind will come to the surface and try to plot revenge, or at least threatening it. Like a cat she can love you one moment and want to scratch you the next. And no one ever really knows where she falls.
If we peel off that first layer of skin, we can see that Alecto is in fact an innately selfish person. She puts herself before anyone else, and if she doesn’t like it, she’ll make it known same way or another. She has competitive issues, and she doesn’t’ t like feeling being undermined. It comes with the terrain of being accustomed to the centre of attention. She’s catty, shrew, manipulative. But, the skills she has sort of make up for it. When a person is able to charm/laugh/flirt/blow their way out of problems, you know he or she’s got talent. And Alecto? Well, Alecto is that person.
But bellow all this layer of confidence and control. Inversely, to her façade; Alecto is genuinely insecure person if one gets far enough to be in her small circle of dependants. Although she can be very wary around new people. She has never been one willing to trust fully, but she has always been willing to try new things. For her whole life, alecto has done things her way. Even as a young child who was neglected, Alecto always tried not to show her emotions, creating a facade around herself, because she hated to seem weak and docile. Hiding behind this shell, she is actually very insecure and tries to avoid relationships, since she finds it very hard to freely express her emotions. Alecto holds many insecurities and has a less than perfect life.
Though she just looks uncaring, and completely in control of her emotions, Alecto really isn't all that in control on the inside. That is the facade that she is required to put on. Truly, She's damaged from her past, and because of this, she barricades herself safe. Apologizing isn't something she's capable of doing, and plays things like she's careless about how other people feel. It makes it easier as a death eater. She doesn't create ties, therefore there isn't anything to hold her back. Infect her manipulative nature, strives to push to get what she wants. She's not scared to use the unforgivable curses as long as she gets what she wants in the end. With that being said, it's easy to see that. She hates losing control of the situations she gets herself into. It turns her mood sour, and she starts pulling her wand at anything she can hit to make sure the tables are turned for herself once again.

History: It was the first of November when Alecto made her grand entrance into the world. It was a dreary sort of day nothing special except for the fact that it was the day when Lex and Vesper had their first and only daughter. Alecto was born into a proudly pure-blooded extremist family. She was by far the youngest of two children, the other being her brother Amycus.
She grew up in a rather large home just on the outskirts of the city with her family. She was spoiled and happy and believed that the world revolved around her. And why shouldn't she? Everyone fawned upon her so. Her brother loved her even if there had always been a striek of competition between the two and her parents thought she was simply perfect, the perfect pure-blood daughter.
Of course, having pureblood parents, Alecto's life was surrounded by magic in all of its greatness, and she knew perfectly well about it before attending her first year at Hogwarts. With both her parents being successful, famous and very powerful in the Wizarding world. She grew up with the knowledge already in her head and like all the purebloods, was quickly immersed in the standard trappings of wizarding prejudice.
Her parents were rather strict with who she met up with. Hence she usually talked to people with other wizarding capabilities, all of whom also knew they had magical abilities. She was taught by her family that Muggleborns were Mudbloods, scum and didn't deserve to have magic, though they were still invited into the school if they had the gift, that could pop up randomly in a family.
Her parents were what you would call more in to the dark arts kind of people. Her dad was always very distant from her and always cared about his fame and money and for what she knew he might even have being one of Voldemorts servants. And her mum cared more about her looks and spending their fortune, and her dear tea parties. Her parents weren't married for love, but instead out of convenience for both of their families. This left a large void in their relationship. An on a couple of occasion her dad was prone to be unfaithful, but everything had being kept hush, hush.
She felt neglected, abandoned, alone, and used. She had no connection to her father only blood, she despised her mother, and her brother was not much but an annoyance to her, though she did feel the most strongly for him. She couldn’t feel love, she couldn’t feel guilt and that she was close to being numb to even pain.
She used to love her parents, but as she grew up and began to understand better of the world, that love soon diminished to almost indifference. The Carrows were never at home, and when they were, they were either too badly wounded to go out of their room, or too drunk to notice their two children.
Few years passed. Nothing changed except, growing up she tried to fill the void in her life by attempting to find other outlets for love and affection as both of her parents seemed incapable of showing this to her, except treating her as an object and showcasing her around.
Alecto’s mother had been the source of many of these things, but her father’s neglect and denial of affection had also hardened the girl to the extent where she called picking the wings off of butterflies fun. She was no child. But there were parts of her, lapses in her constant armor of indifference, where you could glimpse the girl she used to be––the girl she could have been. But even that was erased, in time.
Again, due to the malevolence of her father. He tought her how to use the unforgivable curses, it started with guinea pigs which later become muggles. Alecto had been hesitant. She had never killed anyone before––had never used the Cruciatus curse on anything other than rabbits or squirrels. ‘Do it,’ her father had whispered in her ear, ‘or you’ll be sorry later.’
The thrill of it scared the girl but also excited her. She started to stand up to her father. They had something to share now, something that they could talk about, a connection. Something she had never had with him and was only jelouse that her brother had. Her father died not a month after he was found to be the culprit of the young muggle family's death. He even tried to blame it on Alecto for scapegoat, but only resulted to bring shame to the family.
And again it hit Alecto, when things seemed to go away they are taken way. Deep down she was glad that her father was not loger around. Things were hitting bottom rock now thought, the fact that her mother was so distraught that she was bedridden and Amycus was always away anyway. Her mother became...if possible even more callous towards her. The death of her husband had shocked her, that much was obvious, and she now very rarely left the house, and never drank or had parties with loud, boisterous people in dark cloaks until the very hours of the morning. She blamed Alecto for his death, it was much too visible.
Vesper became a quieter person, and alecto would sometimes wander into a room where she sat on a chair, thinking. Alecto even saw tears leave her eyes. She said nothing. she never did.
Alecto didn’t have much time to really care, though, for she soon received her expected letter from Hogwarts.
Her brother insisted on her befriending many of the pureblood elite, such as the Black sisters, Malfoy, Rosier . But particulary she become close to Regulus Black, who was her same age though she has taken a liking to his older brother, despite his loyalties. She found Sirius more attractive and less arrogant. She liked him more than she liked anyone else, anyway, which was odd, considering he was a Gryffindor and she despised them on principle. Not to mention one look from her dark circle of friends and she would have been killed there and there on the spot, maybe her brother would have done the honours too. Or as she found out, Her mother herself tried to threatened her life if she wasn't more careful with whom she associated, least blood traitors. her mother was back from the slumber and on track to reassuming her old habits, controlling her daughters life , and keeping the family away from bad whispers threatened to get Alecto out of school and arrange her marriage straight away. which she did in a later time anyway, Evan Rosier been the lucky chap.
She was a top student––it was undeniable. But why? Did it stem from her need to prove herself, to be known and appreciated by everyone? Or, rather just to be known? She channeled herself even more; the top of her class, perfect child in the eye of adult supervision. Alone, or in the hallways though, she could still be a living nightmare. She was able to channel her anger or frustration into venting, and everything worked out. but she could fight it off and not be afraid. As long as she knew who she was, she didn't care.
But who was she?
It was fun, really, like leading a double life. She enjoyed the on and off emotions she got to play. Some called her a teacher's pet, and she just smiled at them. It worked perfectly.
POST HOGWARTS:
But what was the point of it all, Alecto would ask herself? Why did she try? She knew that as soon as she got off the tiny spit of a campus that was Hogwarts she would be receiving her Dark Mark. It was all but unofficial yet––Alecto had joined DE society and had been convinced to join along with Regulus. her brother already out of Hogwarts had been one for a few years now he pressured into becoming one since there was nothing left for them anyway, both perents dead, the two had been orphans for eons, this had become their family. Becoming a Death Eater seemed only natural to Alecto, who had known naught but death and decay in her life.
Her father had died and her mother didn't even acknowledge them , and Alecto and Amycus were on their own. She’d been secluded and belonging to something excited her––she wanted to be included in a group that appreciated her and that wouldn’t just abandon her whenever they felt like it. Alecto was done playing games, done being alone, and what she wanted more than anything was to use what skills she had to survive. But what she really wanted was an excuse to kill.
Did she believe muggles and muggleborns were second class citizens and deserved to be exterminated? Partially. The lies her mother and father had told her about the superiority of purebloods had in some fashion gotten to her. But what Alecto really wanted was some security and stability in her life. What she really wanted was a good enough reason to pull wield some of the most powerful dark magic. What she really wanted was adventure with no strings attached. If it got her out of the house most days, that was just about all she could ask for. her and brother had become closer somewhat even thougth they still riled each other up or so she’d phrased it in her mind, and escaping for a few hours to hunt down muggle sympathizers was as thrilling to Alecto as would be the hunt to a lioness.
It’s not so much that she’s even loyal to the Dark Lord, so much as it is that she is loyal to her lifestyle. She’s hardened and cruel, malicious and brutal––but she is her own master.
